Laundry Etiquette

Please put clean linens on the the beds (located in the top of the closet in each room). If you don’t have time to wash the ones you used, just leave them on top of the washing machine or in the dirty clothes hamper in the master bedroom closet. Please do the same with the towels.

The dryer is very slow due to the long vent tube. Don’t put linens, towels, or clothes in the dryer to dry, then leave…they will be damp and possibly mildewed as the dryer will cut off before the items are dry. We would rather you leave the laundry on top of the washer for the next person to wash when he/she (okay, she) gets there. That’s better than the alternative….damp linen or towels in the dryer!

Again, for emphasis…don’t put stuff in the dryer, turn it on, then leave….expecting it to dry! It probably won’t!
